I got COVID

I noticed something strange about 6 days ago. It was last Tuesday.

My body feels heavy and I feel cold. Uncomfortable feeling in the throat.

ah. This has finally turned me off.

The thermometer read 37.3 degrees Celsius, but it was easy to predict that this would not be the case.

This is because a few days before that, there was a bioterrorist who had come to work even though his family had been diagnosed with coronavirus.

When I inquired with the company, I was told that I could receive sickness and injury benefits even if I had the coronavirus, as long as I had a doctor's certificate, so I went to a medical facility to quickly get rid of it, and as expected, I was tested and it was positive.

As of April 29th, as I write this, my fever has subsided and my condition has calmed down enough to write a blog post, but my throat is still so dry that I can't stop coughing at the slightest sound.

I won't be able to do voice training or karaoke for a while.

For the first three days, I had a high fever of nearly 40 degrees, and even though the virus had weakened, I think it was more intense than the flu I had about 10 years ago.

This is probably the first time I have contracted coronavirus.

It's possible that he was actually infected even though he had no symptoms.

However, because he recently deleted his X account, he has become out of touch with society, and he did not know that five days' worth of coronavirus treatment is now quite expensive with a 30% burden.

Zocoba tablets are a special drug for coronavirus.

The price is surprisingly 7,400 yen per pill.

Not all of them, 7,400 yen per pill.

You can buy a mid-range smartphone for a total of just over 50,000 yen.

If you pay 30%, it will cost you about 16,000 yen, but it is still quite a pain for one prescription.

The price is so high that the pharmacist even checks to see if you have the money before prescribing the drug.

There are probably people who refuse because they can't pay...

The recent coronavirus seems to be coming to cause serious damage not only to our bodies but also to our bank balances.

It's too brutal.

A girl's voice came

Previous article I talked about how I aspired to be a vocal singer and started practicing singing a female voice.

She has been practicing a little bit every day for about four months, trying various things based on the courses of various biphonic people.

Now I can hear voices like this.

I don't use any kind of voice changer.

Perhaps because it's based on falsetto, it sounds a little childish.

It's a little different from my ideal direction, but it seems like it's better to develop the feminine voice that I'm comfortable with first, so I think I'll probably go this route.

Even though my voice has started to come out, it still breaks down when I try to speak or sing.

There's probably a wall up ahead.

The road to becoming a beautiful singer-songwriter is high and difficult...

My natural voice is quite low, but it seems like if I practice for a few months I'll be able to get a voice like this.

The learning period varies from person to person, with some people being able to do it in a day and others taking about a year.

Reaper crashes when opening particular project file

I successfully submitted the song to the sequel compilation of the last compilation I participated in (sponsored by Yudachi P), and for a while I was making a song for another compilation, but today when I tried to open the Reaper project file of the compilation song, the DAW A problem occurred where the page fell down midway through.

Is the file corrupted? Even if I open an old file that was backed up, the result is the same.

I've often had trouble overwriting and automatically generating a temp file, but this is the first time I can't open it completely.

Reaper crashes when opening particular project file

I found a post on the official forum that seems to be about the same thing.

Since DAWs often crash due to plug-ins, Reaper seems to have a function similar to a safe mode that disables all plug-ins and opens files.

File > Open project as usual...

Just check the item Open with FX offline (recovery mode).

I opened it without any problems.

I tried deleting one plugin at a time to see which plugin was causing the problem, but when I deleted UVI Workstation, it started up fine.

However, when I added the UVI plug-in again and tried saving it, it started up without any problems, so it's a mystery.

Honestly, I don't know if it's because of the plugin.

Well, it was a relief that the project file itself was not dead.

However, Reaper, in situations like this, the lack of information in Japanese becomes the enemy, so if you don't have the skills to search in English, you'll be stuck.

There are Japanese patches prepared by volunteers, but like FL Studio, I can't really recommend them to people who aren't good at English.

I was thinking about writing an article like ``Starting DTM with a budget of 10,000 yen'' by collecting excellent free plug-ins for Reaper, but honestly I felt like it was pointless.
